On January 1st, I wrote a blog post about what to do with my blog posts. Very meta. Upstream of Consciousness allowed me to reconnect with my passion for writing and explore my interests in film, television, music, etc. Preparing KILROY WAS HERE for publication last summer kept me from blogging and pangs of guilt crept in. The blog was my primary source for getting my writing out and it killed me to not contribute regularly. After the release of KWH in November, my focus shifted from writing to marketing and networking. I promoted the thing on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I've done giveaways on Facebook, Amazon, and Goodreads. I'm working to schedule appearances.

It's work and I'm spread thin online.

So, I've made what I guess is a business decision. This website will be my new home. I will blog here. Post announcements and updates. Post periodic movie reviews and the like. You can still read past entries of Upstream of Consciousness here. Just click on that tab. I just won't post new material there. It will all be here on this tab.

This isn't an earth-shattering, life-altering announcement. It is, though, a needed change in my online presence as a writer. I'll keep fine-tuning the site, so it's more interesting and engaging. I won't update this blog again until February 1st. That will be the "official" launch.

Thanks for reading. Thank you for supporting KILROY WAS HERE.
