Blogtober 2021: Wreck

WORK FROM HOME, DAY 9

What is happening to me? Why do I keep hearing noises and whispers? Why did I see some demonic face in the mirror? Do I have a ghost or a poltergeist?

Internet search: poltergeist

German for "loud ghost."

A type of ghost or spirit that is responsible for physical disturbances, such as loud noises and objects being moved or destroyed. Most claims about or fictional descriptions of poltergeists show them as capable of pinching, biting, hitting, and tripping people. They are also depicted as capable of the movement or levitation of objects such as furniture and cutlery, or noises such as knocking on doors. They have traditionally been described as troublesome spirits who haunt a particular person instead of a specific location.

Ghosts are considered to be spirits of the deceased human beings, who still refuse to leave the realm of the living. They seem to appear in different forms like complete bodies, transparent entities and foggy mists. Poltergeists are considered to be forms of energy, which a living person controls unknowingly.

A form of energy. Troublesome spirit. Haunt a particular person. That describes the bastard currently wrecking my sanity. But why? Why is this son of a bitch after me? What did I do? I consider myself a laid back, genial fellow, so a spirit wanting to be troublesome with me lacks precedent.

...which a living person controls unknowingly.

How am I controlling this? Control isn't one of my strengths. What is this all about?

You know what? I don't care. I don't want to know.
